The European School Copenhagen is seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our Lower Secondary department (Grades 6–9) to teach Human Science and Science in French.
The position is a 60% part-time position until 30th June 2026.
We are looking for candidates who can teach:
The European School Copenhagen (ESCPH) is an accredited European School offering a multilingual and multicultural education from nursery through Secondary 7 (equivalent to 3.G).
The school follows the curriculum and pedagogical principles of the European Schools, combined with Danish education values.
Employment details
The position is a 60% part-time position until 30th June 2026.
Start date: 1st August 2025.
Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the KLF agreement.

- Human Science in French (Grades 6–8)
- Science in French (Grades 6–7)
- Religion in French (Grade 7)
- Fluency in French (native or near-native level)
- Recognised teaching qualification to teach these subjects at Lower Secondary level (Danish Folkeskole 6.–9. klasse)
- Proven teaching experience in Human Science and Science at the Lower Secondary level
- Experience in international and/or intercultural education
- Strong commitment to student learning and well-being
- Collaborative, flexible, and proactive attitude
- Ability to contribute to the ongoing development of the school
- Strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with international colleagues on learning and development
